Administrative Assistant / Analyst

Position Overview:

ANSER has an immediate opening for an Administrative Assistant/Analyst in support of the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense, Real Property at the Mark Center in Falls Church, VA. The person in this role will support the Government in the establishment of policy and provision of oversight for the Department of Defense’s (DoD) real property assets and related services necessary to conduct military operations and readiness worldwide in a cost effective, safe, sustainable and environmentally sound manner. The person in this role will work closely with high level personnel throughout the DoD and government and requires strong and courteous written and oral communications skills.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain and implement routine office technical/administrative procedures and standards to include document preparation and coordination, filing, formatting, reproduction, and distribution as required by the office mission.
  • Manage office supplies and equipment.
  • Assist action officers and contractor team members as needed in managing taskers, scheduling meetings, preparing read-ahead information, preparing meeting presentation material, documenting meetings, tracking action items, and preparing appropriate correspondence.
  • Coordinate input and confirm accuracy of contractor input for team events and activities.
  • Manage contractor input to various status reports and support management of an integrated work schedule for the team.
  • Support team members in a variety of areas related to the Directorate mission, including but not limited to support to data analytics and data quality.
  • Process visitor parking passes, security requirements, check-in and provide visitor escort

Required Qualifications:

  • Active DoD Secret security clearance or higher.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent.
  • Expert with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Flexibility, readiness to help in new areas.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Candidate must provide documentation to substantiate fully vaccinated status against the COVID 19 virus.

Desired Qualifications (NOT REQUIRED):

  • Real Property experience.
  • Strong background with MS Excel to include pivot tables, macros, etc.
  • Experience with CATMS or other tasker management system.
