Dominion Diagnostics is the premier provider of comprehensive clinical quantitative urine drug testing, medication monitoring, and support services nationwide. Serving hundreds of clients in a variety of medical specialties, we provide actionable information to improve patient care and medical outcomes in the treatment of Chronic Pain and Addiction Medicine.

Schedule / Hours:


Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
The position is Hybrid (Remote & On-Site) and based in North Kingstown, RI.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accurate and timely application of payments and denials into the billing system via manual and electronic posting methods;
  • Review and correction (if applicable) of credits applied into the billing system;
  • Research, review and processing of refunds to third party payers;
  • Daily reconciliation of totals posted;
  • Follow up on payment issues and overpayments in a timely manner;
  • Maintains productivity standards as established by management;
  • Search and download necessary remits from various websites;
  • Documentation management including professional communication with management regarding third party payer issues to aid in forecasting cash collections;
  • All other duties as assigned based on staffing or other initiatives including, but not limited to billing, patient or client posting, demographic entry, cross training, and overtime to ensure departmental goals are met and a team environment is maintained;
  • Must adhere to HIPAA and payer guidelines and compliance requirements as set forth by payers and Dominion’s Compliance program.

Education and Experience:

  • Knowledge of all equipment and systems/technology necessary to complete duties and responsibilities
  • Experience with HIPAA standards and compliance programs
  • Familiarity with payer Explanation of Benefits and Remittance Advice codes
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance while adhering to company standards and guidelines
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret rejections/denial codes Effective time management to complete assignments within established time frames, optimize collections and meet performance goals
  • Maintains and projects a positive attitude and professional demeanor towards customers, co-workers and management
  • Must be well versed in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Minimum of 45 WPM on keyboard. Ten key skills are also required

Mandatory Covid-19 Vaccination Policy:
