Cell & Gene Therapy Sales Specialist - North Atlantic

Position Summary:

Developing the Cell & Gene Therapy (C>) business across the North Atlantic region in defined C> Accounts, as well as developing Pharmaceutical, Academic groups and start-up companies

Key Responsibilities/Source and develop new business:

  • Source, develop and drive new/existing business opportunities in C> space
  • Use a selection of channels in order to identify and qualify new business opportunities, including in-bound lead follow up, outbound cold calls, emails and social media.
  • Look to implement new and innovative strategies in order to identify new business, therefore enhancing Bio-Techne EMEA revenue
  • Keep all channels of communication open with internal and external sales teams, lead generation and marketing within Bio-Techne
  • Work with Cell & Gene Therapy Sales and Marketing team, as well as the “ScaleReady” Joint-Venture to develop and grow this exciting customer group
  • Build relationships and opportunities with C> Customers across the NAR region
  • Understanding the complete therapy offering in the region
  • Report on progress and opportunities to both Sales Manager & C> Team
  • Maintain awareness and knowledge of marketplace and competitors. Report findings and potential pipeline both monthly and quarterly to your Manager
  • Represent the company at domestic and international conferences
  • Accurately report back into the team leader on the business
  • Some travel in North Atlantic region for Customer visits required

Education and Experience:

  • BSc or above in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
  • An understanding of the Life Science Market and Bio-Techne portfolio
  • Fluent in English
  • Demonstrable experience of working within a sales environment with a strong commercial focus
  • Experience of sales in North Atlantic countries and / or Cell & Gene Therapy desirable
  • Beneficial to have experience with a CRM
  • Ability to track return on investment (ROI) and key performance indicators (KPI’s)
  • Possess excellent IT skills; including experience of working with databases, Office Outlook, using Excel and Word are essential.
