Clinical Dietician 30 Hours-Day

Position Summary:

Screens and assesses nutritional status of patients and develops nutrition care plans with established goals. Provides medical nutrition therapy and nutrition education following established standards of care and practice guidelines. Works collaboratively within an interdisciplinary model to achieve positive patient outcomes. Participates in performance improvement process and initiatives to improve client/patient services. Acts as a role model for staff members. Manages resources to achieve budgetary goals. Complies with all regulatory standards. Demonstrates flexibility in response to changes. Supports patient meal service functions. Performs other duties as assigned.

Scheduled Hours:

  • 30 hours per week, days. This position is primarily located at Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester and BayRidge Hospital in Lynn

Qualifications/Education/Experience:

  • BS in Nutrition, Dietetics or related field
  • One year previous experience in Clinical Dietetics preferred

Certification/License:

  • Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
  • Current Massachusetts License
