POSITION OVERVIEW:

Analytic Services, Inc. (ANSER) is seeking a Compensation Human Resources Manager to work closely with Director of Human Resources and Business Unit Leaders to lead and guide the following programs for the organization: Compensation; Training and Development; Staffing and Talent Acquisition; Employee Benefits; HRIS Administration. Responsibilities:

  • Reports to the Director of Human Resources and supervises several HR Team Members
  • Responsible for development, implementation, and administration of compensation policies, procedures, and practices under supervision of the Director of Human Resources.
  • Analyzes jobs and develops job descriptions, to include FLSA exemption determinations
  • Participates in completion of annual salary surveys
  • Monitors federal, state and local laws and regulation to ensure company compliance
  • Works with the HR Team to determine appropriate compensation benchmarking sources and to monitor salary ranges, making recommendations for adjustments as appropriate and as needed.
  • Develops and maintains Training and Development Program, including the outline and design of career paths to match job functions with employee skillset and capabilities
  • Maintains a library of accurate, compliant, and updated job descriptions.
  • Develops and maintains appropriate reporting systems for hiring and job data, such as cost per hire, time to fill, quality of hire, and turnover.
  • Manages vendor partnerships for all recruiting services, job postings, ad placements, and external recruiters. Regularly analyzes results to determine the cost effectiveness of each partner or tool, making appropriate adjustments as needed.
  • Typically interfaces with Executive Leadership, HR team members and all levels of staff.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field and eight (8) years of related professional human resources experience, and one to three (1-3) years of supervisory/leadership experience
  • Extensive Compensation Equity Analyses experience required
  • Requires familiarity within all areas of human resources administration.
  • Self-starter, capable of operating independently
  • Ability to manage departmental functions and supervise team members
  • Possess solid interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead a team and work effectively as part of a team; and plan, organize and lead projects
  • Must be innovative in recommending new approaches to solving complex business / organizational problems
  • Strong analytical skills, with an exceptional customer service orientation
  • Superior oral and written communication skills/interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of and compliance with employment laws and regulations including Affirmative Action Plans and Programs
  • Ability to present complex material to employees as well as to mid- and senior-level management
  • Outstanding time management and project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a highly fluid and dynamic environment
  • Ability to plan, organize and direct a project from inception through completion
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; specifically, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
