These positions are part of the GMP, GMP-S and RG Manufacturing departments located in Fargo, ND and will be onsite. At Aldevron, we combine best-in-class products and service with the ideal operating environment to lay the groundwork for vital new discoveries worldwide. You will be a part of the Biomanufacturing Team and will be responsible for executing production events in a GMP manufacturing environment.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Be trained to execute to execute downstream manufacturing processes, including lysis, anion exchange chromatography, and hydrophobic interaction chromatography (void and enrichment), thiophilic absorption chromatography, defiltration, small scale processing and linearization
- Plan and prepare for production lots by planning and assembling inventory, completing process plans, and staging production areas.
- Adhere to good manufacturing practices by following appropriate gowning protocols, standard operating procedures, and good documentation practices.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to communicate the status of operations, processing, safety, and equipment.
- Ensure a safety-first and audit ready mindset and environment within the manufacturing labs.
Must Have The essential requirements of the job include:
- H.S. diploma required. A.S. or B.S. preferred.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Can require you to lift and maneuver up to 50lbs. for safety protocols.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Working in a manufacturing or GMP biomanufacturing setting
- Mechanical-focused industries
- Following standard operating procedures
