Salary Range: 146K-176K depending on experience
Job Description
We are hiring for a Field Application Scientist Manager to lead and manage our Field Application Scientists (FAS) team in driving customer and commercial success and supporting the development of products and services for our Namocell single cell instruments and reagents business.
This position is based in our Mountain View, CA site, with up to 10% travel to customer sites as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the FAS team to provide scientific and technical support to customers, key opinion leaders (KOLs) and distributors.
- Provide voice of the customers to internal teams and support product and applications development.
- Support the sales and marketing teams with strategy and commercial success.
- Communicate with the sales organization to ensure all business needs are met.
- Implement customer training processes and documentations.
- Work on technical documentation (e.g., papers/posters) related to product capabilities and workflows.
- Support market assessments for new products.
- Assisting with hiring, training, and deployment of new FAS personnel.
- Assisting with product and application marketing efforts.
Experience/Education:
- PhD in Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Genetics or related life sciences discipline.
- At least 5 years of mammalian cell culture experience; cell sorting experience a plus.
- At least 2 years of industry work experience with a life science instrument/reagent company as a Field Application Scientist with extensive customer interaction experience. Prior experience as a bench scientist with a biotech/biopharma company is a strong plus.
- Strong cell biology technical skills.
- Aptitude for understanding, communicating, and training scientific concepts, applications and methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Well-organized, ability to lead and drive team success.
