Operations Training Manager

Job Summary
This position is part of the Aldevron Operations team located in Fargo, ND and will be on-site. At Aldevron, we combine best-in-class products and service with the ideal operating environment to lay the groundwork for vital new discoveries worldwide. You will report to the VP of Manufacturing and Supply Chain.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, coordinate, and facilitate training for new Operations associates to ensure understanding of the manufacturing facility, processes, regulations, and requirements.
  • Provide instructional training and assessment/certification support for manufacturing and supply chain processes
  • Develop and manage a training tracking and follow up system to verify consistent technical training progress, completion, and sustainability for all Operations
  • Indirectly oversee manufacturing technical leads to ensure consistent on-the-job training practices and follow-through.
  • Identify new training needs, understand skill requirement changes or process changes, and coordinate training to accommodate production requirements.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of work instructions.
  • Interface with quality leadership to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Develop, coordinate, and lead operational safety training.
  • Perform regular process audits of personnel in assigned areas.
  • Develop measurement and feedback systems to monitor training effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • H.S. Diploma required; A.S. or B.S. preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in GMP manufacturing
  • Experience training technical processes
  • Effective communicator and facilitator
  • Ability to think strategically and critically to solve business objectives
