Position Overview:

Analytic Services, Inc. (ANSER) is seeking a Senior Operations & Security Analyst to work onsite at the Mark Center in Falls Church, VA in support the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Chemical and Biological Defense (ODASD(CBD)) in the oversight of the Chemical and Biological Defense Program (CBDP). The person in this role will provide support across the ODASD(CBD) on processes and actions regarding personnel, security, Defense Travel System (DTS), facilities management, and supply requisitions.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, execute, and monitor ODASD(CBD) information, physical, personnel, and classified document security.
  • Develop, manage, and sustain the ODASD(CBD) security program.
  • Coordinate the transmission of office personnel security clearances/visit requests to US Government Agencies, the Services, and International Partners and the receipt of visit requests for incoming personnel and visitors.
  • Prepare and submit applications for Passports and visas required for international travel.
  • Ensure physical security of the spaces, including adding and deleting access to alarm and swipe access to an Open Storage Classified workspace.
  • Maintain preparedness for annual security inspections and semi-annual inventory of COMSEC material.
  • Maintain preparedness for Fire Marshall and Life/Safety inspections.
  • Generate request for Common Access Cards, Pentagon Building Access permissions, and 24-hours access exemptions for individuals requiring that access.
  • Conduct in/out-processing of all personnel including civilian, military, contractor, and members of multiple fellowship programs.
  • Complete and submit Country Clearance Messages for Foreign Travel.
  • Request computer account creation for NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS accounts, as required for each individual.
  • Support Freedom of Information Act/Mandatory Declassification Review (FOIA/MDR) requests, as needed.
  • Utilize the Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS) in support of ODASD(CBD) tasks, as required.
  • Provide support to the operations and administration functional area of the ODASD(CBD), as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Possess an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI access (TS/SCI).
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency using JPAS/DISS.
  • Experience with personnel security to include submitting clearance requests, clearance validation, Visitor Access Requests (VAR), badging, and the submitting requests for Common Access Cards (CACs).
  • Familiar with the DoD passport and visa request process.
  • Experience managing physical security of all spaces both classified and unclassified.
  • Experience working with, briefing, and engaging General Officer/Flag Officer/SES-level personnel.
  • Candidate must provide documentation to substantiate fully vaccinated status against the COVID-19 virus.

Desired Qualifications (NOT REQUIRED):

  • Experience using Action Tracking Systems such as the Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS), Joint Staff Action Process (JSAP), or similar.
  • Experience with the Automated Personnel and Aircraft Clearance System (APACS).
  • Working knowledge of the DoD Foreign Clearance Guide.
  • Familiarity with DoD Administrative Instruction 15, OSD Records and Information Management Program.
