Training, Doctrine Development, and Exercise Support Analyst

Position Overview:

ANSER is seeking Training, Doctrine Development, and Exercise Support Analysts to support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) in Fort Belvoir, VA by providing Training, Doctrine Development and Exercise expertise. The person in this role will provide analytical, technical, and administrative support for training, doctrine, and exercise related activities.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive Joint training courses on countering and deterring WMD, improvised threats, and threat networks.
  • As required, participate along with DTRA personnel in CCMD joint exercises.
  • Develop Joint education and training materials, support course implementation, and provide course instruction including, but not limited to, support to mobile training teams. Assist in preparations and teaching of the Joint CWMD Planning Course (JCPC).
  • As required, support DTRA’s participation in the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Readiness System and in the development of METLs, standards, and conditions.
  • As required, assist in the doctrinal revision of CWMD and counter improvised threat publications.
  • Review selected publications on behalf of the Government to determine congruence with policy and doctrine and review for technical accuracy, or as otherwise required.
  • Conduct studies related to countering and deterring WMD, improvised threats, and threat networks, including current and possible future strategies, doctrines, plans and annexes; operational handbooks and guides; and policies including, but not limited to, capability gaps and emerging trends.???????

Required Qualifications:

  • Active DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI).
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to work at the executive level, with excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Candidate must provide documentation to substantiate fully vaccinated status against the COVID 19 virus

Desired Qualifications (NOT REQUIRED):

  • Current DTRA experience is highly preferred.
  • Master's or advanced education.
