Job Definition:
The Business Development Specialist will be tasked with growing existing Small Core Customer sales and new Customer acquisition by working with Regional Managers, Branch Managers, and Salespeople to introduce BDI to New Customers, to introduce new Products to Existing Customers, to reengage inactive Customers, and to schedule appointments for Salespeople.
Responsibilities
- Use BDI tools to Identify Existing and Target Customers where BDI can increase Market Share
- Introduce BDI and BDI’s Salespeople to Existing and Target Customers using digital tools, including email; phone; text; and newsletters
- Use Productivity Pipeline Projects, Knowledge Base Articles, SmartLeads and other sales tools to introduce solutions to Existing and Target Customers and to schedule appointments for BDI Salespeople
- Responsible for other duties as they are assigned
Education, Experience and Qualifications:
- H.S. Diploma or GED required
- College education preferred
- 3-5 years of Sales experience
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated who can work independently
- Microsoft Outlook and other Digital tools
- Experience with and knowledge of Business Development
