Position Description

To support our programs and initiatives, Abt is seeking an Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (EDIA) Specialist with a proven commitment to and experience working on equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility issues. Job Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the EDIA Specialist is to oversee the operations and support the execution of Employee Networking Groups (ENGs), organizationally supported volunteer groups formed by employees around a particular interest, life experience, or demographic factor. ENGs provide opportunities for networking, career and professional development, knowledge sharing, mentoring, and support. The EDIA Specialist will monitor program effectiveness and promote ENGs throughout the organization. Other responsibilities of the EDIA Specialist include:
Responsibilities:
- Participating in the review and implementation of company diversity plans, programs and policies, which include but go beyond Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action (AA).
- Providing insight into trainings and initiatives to create and foster an open and inclusive environment that serves to attract and retain a diverse workforce.
- Drafting EDIA communications and coordinating their release with the Internal Communications team
- Coordinating the ongoing development of a peer support network in project offices across Latin America, Africa, and Asia.
- Managing employee groups, working independently with limited supervision.
- Championing Abt’s equity strategy and modeling Abt’s values
- Coordinating communications with a global mindset
- Collaborating across the organization and HR team to embed an equity lens into all of our work
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree + Two years of relevant experience, or Master’s Degree
- We have the opportunity to hire at a level above these minimum requirements should the best candidate that emerges from the process present as a better match to those qualifications.
- This position offers an anticipated annual base salary range of approximately $56,618.52 to $79,265.93 and may vary by ten percent depending on candidate geographic location. Salary offers are made based on internal equity and market analysis
