F-35 Mission Systems Software Analyst

SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION:

The F-35 is the most advanced weapon system in the history of military aviation. As part of this team, you will work with engineering specialists, SMEs, commercial industry, Senior DoD leadership and the greater aviation community to shape the future of F-35 warfighting capabilities. As a Software Analyst supporting the Mission Systems Support team, you will interface with software SMEs, program management organizations, software depots, systems engineering transformation teams, software metrics teams, modeling and simulation teams, cutting-edge research institutions, DevSecOps and cloud subject matter experts, and service and partner points of contact to shape current and future software needs for the F-35 program. You will help analyze and execute plans for F-35 software modernization, to include supporting regular working groups and meetings and working closely with Government leads, SMEs, and stakeholders. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • At least 6 years of Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in analysis of DoD acquisition programs or projects with emphasis on software systems
  • Leadership and project management skills
  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in metrics development/analysis and/or software modernization/implementation is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing organizational structures and requirements
  • SECRET Clearance with eligibility for SAR
