SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION:

Marine Force Pacific Command (MARFORPAC) Force Protection (FP) Planner: ANSER is seeking qualified personnel to support MARFORPAC leadership and staff in developing, enhancing and sustain MARFORPAC Antiterrorism (AT)/FP and mission assurance plans and operations.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • The Force Protection Planner will deliver integrated protection program planning, analysis, and support for MARFORPAC and the operational forces, specifically focused on the development of the USMC Force Protection program, and the planning, management, and execution of Force Protection within the Operational Forces.
  • The AT/FP Analyst will support research and analysis and provide planning expertise for the integration of Force Protection planning requirements into USINDOPACOM OPLANS/CONPLANS in order to ensure the provision of adequate protection of DoD personnel and equipment conducting activities across the Range Of Military Operations in support of U.S. national interests. The contractor will assist in the development, staffing, and implementation of service-wide policy and procedures used for the planning and execution of Force Protection Programs within the Operational Forces. Duties include:
  • Provide an ad hoc analytic capability (i.e., subject matter expertise) for planned training activities and OPLAN) and planning support for miscellaneous future and current operations planning efforts and initiatives for the Force Protection Program.

Specific Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret clearance with obtain SCI eligibility
  • Minimum 5 years of AT/FP, integrated defense and mission assurance based experience at the MEF, MAJCOM, equivalent or other higher headquarters organization.
  • Possess a working knowledge of the Pacific theater, and an understanding of the relationships and general interactions between each nation within
  • Operational and/or logistical experience in the Asia-Pacific Theater (preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal/social skills; proven staff officer/contractor support excellence
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

EDUCATION & YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors degree of higher and 5+ years of relevant experience – OR – Associates degree and 8+ years of relevant experience
