Job Description:

  • Demonstrates knowledge of NAMSA clinical and consulting services, and sells on the basis of service expertise (technical knowledge).
  • Creates global therapeutic area specific strategies for entering or expanding clinical business for strategic, existing and new accounts.
  • Partners with the Business Development Executives Clinical, Account Managers, Technical Advisors, and Marketing to achieve global sales targets.
  • Achieves assigned sales goals through effective interaction with existing and prospective clients, in accordance with, but not limited to, therapeutic area business strategies.
  • Executes in speaking roles at customer engagements- to include MRO summits and/or other territory level shows.
  • Delivers effective sales presentations, contracts, and proposals to ensure successful outcome of sales interactions and transactions.
  • Recommends pricing strategies to secure large pieces of business from strategic accounts.
  • Assists with the creation of dedicated selling teams and other Sales & Marketing Associates in developing new market opportunities in designated accounts, and therapeutic areas to achieve global sales targets.
  • Responsible for ensuring that Business Development Executives and Account Managers are properly trained on all clinical and consulting offerings and appropriate selling strategies.
  • Takes an active role in global presentations, “lunch & learns”, and bid defense preparation to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Provides feedback to Marketing Professionals to ensure NAMSA pricing and marketing strategies are in line with current industry practices.
  • Attends industry conferences and/or trade shows to build relationships with prospective customers, key opinion leaders, and other influential professionals
  • Responsible for maintaining client contact information within CRM software.

Qualifications & Technical Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, or biological sciences.
  • Minimum 4 years clinical operations experience with active role in sales activities
  • Proven ability to sell CRO and/or multi-service projects consistently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proficiency in relevant ERP system and tools.
  • Knowledge in the MRO/CRO industry
  • Knowledge of appropriate CRO Services
