International Pricing Analyst 3
Job Summary
The Pricing Analyst 3 works closely with the International Development Division, field offices, and various Departments and conducts research to support the development of budgets and budget narratives for international proposals. Supports the Pricing Team in developing and updating tools and templates used for proposal development and in analyzing pricing information.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of proposal budgets and narratives for the International Development Division of all complexity levels.
- Collect cost data for proposal budgets, collaborating with internal departments, the International Development Division, and international project offices.
- Assist other Lead Pricer's in the development of proposal budgets and narratives, as well as providing QA checks on proposal budgets.
- Help develop and modify pricing tools and templates to increase efficiency and accuracy as well as providing more detailed financial analysis of our proposal efforts.
- Participate in developing pricing strategy and risk mitigation.
- Report to Senior Leadership on proposal efforts, in particular the financial metrics and risks and mitigation strategies.
- Maintain documentation for proposal efforts by saving approvals and cost inputs in the appropriate folders, following existing processes.
- Assist with financial analysis, competitive intelligence gathering, pricing scenarios, and profitability analysis.
- Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on USAID-funded projects or proposals.
- Experience managing or developing international development project and/or proposal budgets.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment with different personality types.
- Ability to work in teams and independently.
- Great communicator, fluent in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to multitask with ease, adapting to frequently changing priorities.
- Familiarity with federal award regulations, in particular FAR and AIDAR.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree + Five years of relevant experience, or Master’s Degree + Three years of relevant experience, or PhD
- We have the opportunity to hire at a level above these minimum requirements should the best candidate that emerges from the process present as a better match to those qualifications.
- This position offers an anticipated annual base salary range of approximately $79,485.87 to $127,177.40 and may vary by ten percent depending on candidate geographic location. Salary offers are made based on internal equity and market analysis
