POSITION DESCRIPTION:

  • ANSER is seeking a Learning Management System Administrator (SYSAD) for the Training Management Branch (TMB) within the United States Marshal Service (USMS) Training Division (TD). The Learning Management (SYSAD) will operationally report directly to the Chief Training Management Branch and respond to instructional support cadre. The primary responsibilities of the Learning Management (SYSAD) is to (1) provide support and enhance workload management of the current Learning Management System and (2) assist the curriculum developers to ensure compatibility on the learning management system. The USMS-TD headquarters are located on the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco, Georgia.
  • The Learning Management (SYSAD) is responsible for the following:
  • Work independently or with a team of curriculum developers, agency instructors or subject matter experts.
  • Assist the agency with the learning management system administration and documentation efforts.
  • Assist the agency in tracking, entering, recording, and management of talent and other resources, scheduled offerings, assessments, surveys, every user's competency profile, skill gaps, and recertification and qualifications deadlines.
  • Assign training, record completions, create items, scheduled offerings, assessments, surveys, and custom reports.
  • Perform system audits and correct any errors or anomalies. Test and load online training and resources to the learning management system and assure quality control.
  • Develop a distance learning merit promotion training program that successfully prepares employees for career ladders progression and merit promotions.
  • Ability to work with USMS cadre and subject matter experts to conduct research and resolve training and education issues.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 5 or more years specialized experience which includes administration/management of a Learning Management System, with at least one year of experience in the administration of a Learning Management System developed by SAP/ Success Factors.
  • Experience with Captivate, Adobe Presenter, Java, Microsoft Teams, WebEx, and Adobe Connect to deliver training.
  • Strong oral communication, ability to present complex information clearly, and excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience using project management techniques, making presentations, and conducting classroom training.
  • Information technology (IT) literacy skills with knowledge and ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Suite, and SharePoint 2010.
  • Experience with 508 compliances.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance from the DOJ.

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficient with Learning Management System (LMS) configurations and applications.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and MS SharePoint Designer 2010.
