Manufacturing Technician - Second Shift

Position Summary:

As the Manufacturing Technician, you will perform routine setup and change over operations on a variety of packaging equipment lines. You will closely monitor production at various stages of completion. Follow written processes and procedure and adhere to a high-quality standard in all areas of the production process.

Second Shift Hours are 2:30PM EST-11PM EST

Key Responsibilities:

  • Primary operator of manufacturing equipment
  • Perform minor set-up and change-over activities
  • Record production run information and maintain appropriate paperwork
  • Safely and effectively move material / product as required
  • Follow all established SOPs, Quality and Safety policies.
  • Perform area clean-up and line clearance as required.
  • Training of new and temporary hires as necessary
  • Assist with equipment pack line or manual pack line operations as needed
  • Identify process improvements and flag areas for improvement
  • Meet quality and productivity expectations

Education and Experience:

  • High school or GED required
  • 1-2 years experience with equipment operation in a GMP environment
  • Prior work experience in ISO or FDA Medical device industry preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be able to work second shift hours and be available for overtime as necessary
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must have a positive attitude, good attention to detail and be team oriented.
