Marketing Manager, Immune Cell

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execute and deliver on the commercial strategy for defined product portfolio.
  • Be the lead marketing representative driving product launches to ensure product specifications are in-line with market requirements and to drive product launches as scheduled.
  • Lead product life cycle management, including managing all existing products pricing and quality, continuously improving position & profitability of current products, and rationalization of product line/pricing to drive portfolio profitability.
  • Serve as key liaison with the immune cell business unit leader, procurement, manufacturing, sales, and global marketing team for assigned product(s).
  • Actively track and analyze global sales growth, gross margins, supply issues, quality issues, etc.; for the defined business.
  • Represent the voice of the customer inside the organization and make recommendations for new features or improved solutions for the product line.
  • Work closely with the Marcom team to develop and implement marketing programs to generate new sales leads.
  • Gather competitive intelligence to maintain an understanding of the competitive landscape to inform strategic and tactical product plans.
  • Develop and manage product line-specific content such as sales tools, collateral materials, scientific publications, trade exhibits, and web site content.
  • Liaise with sales as a technical advisor for supported products and provide marketing and/or technical support at conventions, user's meetings, workshops, and other specific marketing functions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Master’s degree in related field, with strong scientific background in immunology, cell culture and/or cell therapy applications. MBA Preferred.
  • 3-5 years’ experience of marketing within the life science industry
  • Demonstrated excellence in both written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple, complex projects in varying stages of development under time pressure with minimal supervision

  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) and sales channels is preferred
  • Strong collaboration, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for improving customer success and an exceptional customer experience
  • Ability to work as part of, and lead, cross-functional teams involving Operations, Project Management, Marketing, and Sales and effectively engage at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership
  • Ability and willingness to travel (up to 30%) as necessary, including overnight business trips
