Bio-Techne’s Diagnostic Reagents Division has been providing essential products to the in vitro diagnostics industry for over 40 years. We supply quality controls and reagents for clinical laboratory and point-of-care testing, along with custom products to other companies serving the IVD market.

We are currently hiring a Material Coordinator for our location in Devens, MA. The Material Coordinator-Warehouse will play a key role in ensuring a productive flow of finished goods, supplies and materials to our production teams. Full-time Monday-Friday with overtime on occasion. Hours 6:00am-2:30pm

Primary duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Stock warehouse materials that get delivered by various means, and inventory these products, not only physically in the warehouse but ensure the correct location in our ERP Data system.
  • Perform scheduled cycle counts to maintain correct inventory counts-if inventories have a large variance, these must be investigated.
  • Identifies material that are non-conforming, and start the NCMR, Non-Conforming Material Review, process using our Documentation System as needed.
  • Work with other warehouse personnel and the manufacturing team leads and supervisors to supply materials to the production lines following BOM and other instructional documents.
  • Keep accurate records of inventory using various computer software.
  • Keeping the KanBan items fully stocked and ensuring no product has expired, and is at the current BIO-REV, along with checking the lot numbers.
  • Participating in the yearly Physical Inventory.
  • Maintaining the Mezzanine, this will require working with company departments to ensure boxes and goods are stored neatly and safely in assigned locations.
  • Follow company policies and practices as outlined in the Handbook, SOP’s and Training records, as well as follows guideline regarding safety as outlined in the safety program and in accordance to the job function.
  • Be flexible by completing other duties as assigned and assistance other departments, as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Operate power material handling equipment (company training provided).
  • Maintain knowledge of the work performed in the department and learn how to perform multiple functions within the department.
  • Understand and follow standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements such as DOT, GMP, ISO,etc.
  • Understand and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Understand and follow standards related to safety.
  • Complete all compliance training as required.
  • Must have computer skills, ERP Database, Excel, RF scan, inventory management systems.
  • Ability to support and help others in different departments showing cooperation and teamwork.
  • Demonstrate an increasing level of independence in daily work tasks.
  • Ability to regularly lift and carry 50 lbs.
  • Ability to climb ladder and stock shelves up to 15 feet.
  • Ability to work in 2-8 degree centigrade environment for extended periods.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a warehouse/inventory management/kitting work.
  • Excellent computer skills, with ERP system experience.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
  • Organizational skills and extreme attention to detail a must.
