As a Business Analyst, you will work with ASI management, project managers, advisors and other senior analysts to:
Manage the integrated portfolio of AES programs (Electric Program Investment Charge “EPIC”, WMP, etc.) and projects (scope, schedule, cost).
Develop PMO systems/tools to facilitate work processes, document and store information, and improve communications.
Lead strategy and content development for AES-related regulatory requests (e.g., General Rate Case “GRC” and EPIC filings, etc.).
Administer T&D’s Technology Stage-Gate process to ensure the right technology projects progress and have a track towards deployment.
Screen and assess new technology ideas, as well as manage the overall intake process.
Develop technology business cases to raise awareness of the benefits versus costs.
Manage Asset Engineering Strategy (AES) financials within authorized budgets.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting the planning, execution and closeout of emerging technology projects by helping project managers prepare and maintain systems engineering documents, project management plans, financial models, detailed project schedules, status reports and final project reports.
- Process invoices, purchase requests and purchase orders in SAP.
- Set-up project and program meetings, coordinate agendas and presentation materials, and take meeting minutes.
- Develop cost-benefit models using Excel to help inform decision-making on emerging technology investments.
- Perform market research to collect data on problems and opportunities to be solved through emerging technology applications.
- Prepare presentations to socialize projects and seek decisions from governance forums.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Five (5) years of experience in an analyst role.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word (e.g., develop table of contents, create templates, etc.), Excel (e.g., vlookups, pivot tables, charters, etc.), PowerPoint (e.g., develop slides, create templates, format slides, write content, etc.).
- Strong oral and written communications skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree. Demonstrated experience using software tools (i.e., MS Project and Primavera P6) to develop, manage and update project schedules.
- Project Management Certification.
- Experience developing financial models and presenting recommendations to management.
- Electric utility industry experience.
- Experience working in a PMO.
- Experience developing, maintaining and using Sharepoint sites or other collaborative software tools such as MS Teams or Slack.
- Experience using SAP.
- Experience developing policies, processes and procedures.
- Experience with Agile (Scrum) framework.
