Position Summary:
The Senior Commercial Marketing Manager will define, develop, and drive the commercial product strategy for Cell and Gene Therapy products within Bio-Techne that offer significant promise to treat life threatening diseases. This would include gaining alignment on portfolio strategies with cross-functional and regional stakeholders. In this role will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to drive high commercial growth. In this role the incumbent would understand the Cell & Gene Therapy market landscape and the customer needs, and key drivers enabling development of comprehensive strategy that allows Bio-Techne to maintain their leadership position in the market and to continue to support growth. In this role will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to drive high commercial growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support for launch initiatives and develop go-to-market plans for strategic product lines.
- Develop compelling marketing material that promotes the cell and gene therapy portfolio of products and provides evidence that the products elevate customer pain points.
- Champion successful product launches by owning the ultimate customer experience and financial success.
- Coordinate launch and marketing initiatives with regional commercial product management teams.
- Build strong relationships and maintain close interactions with internal stakeholders such as Sales, Technical Support, R&D, Marketing and Regional teams through active participation in the sales process, including customer visits, pricing tactics and customer support.
- Develop and deliver product marketing training to global marketing and sales teams.
- Evaluate market and sales data to develop a deep understanding of the Cell and Gene Therapy market and our customers and use this information to drive and support strategic commercial initiatives.
- As a part of the broader product management team, provide market insights to influence new product development efforts.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of product/marketing management experience within the life sciences field; OR a Master's degree with 5 years of experience; OR Ph.D. with 3 years of experience
- Must have experience and understanding of the Cell and Gene Therapy market
- Strong business acumen and aptitude for customer requirements
- Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally, as global conditions permit.
- MBA preferred
