Senior IT Architect
Overview:
ATCC is seeking a remote Senior Azure Cloud IT Architect. The Senior Azure IT Architect is responsible for developing cloud strategy and coordinating adoption, developing cloud architecture, and leading the cultural change for cloud adoption. A significant focus will be designing and implementing compute, network, storage, and security services on Microsoft Azure. This position interfaces with senior leadership regarding ATCC’s cloud-first strategy and provides architecture, monitoring, implementation, and migration services to ATCC Infrastructure, Cybersecurity and DevOps. IAAS, PAAS and SAAS and other as-a-service solutions are all within scope.
Responsibilities:
- 1. Define the technical architecture and strategy for IT solutions including major enhancements and interfaces, functions, and features, based on requirements and best practices. Guide the design and deployment of IT solutions.
- 2. Advise stakeholders and translate organizational requirements into secure, scalable, and reliable solutions. Select the appropriate IT solutions, develop site navigation, and design framework to enhance stability, performance, and maintainability.
- 3. Regularly evaluate IT solutions. Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks, assumptions, issues, and decisions (RAID) throughout the full systems lifecycle.
- 4. Lead efforts in prototyping and proof of concept system development and benchmarking as well as identify and resolve production issues.
- 5. Drive knowledge, understanding and use of enterprise architecture through all levels of the organization. Develop solutions, implement projects, and set up monitoring systems using products and services.
- 6. Determine specifications, plan, design, and develop solutions, utilizing appropriate engineering processes either individually or in concert with project team.
- 7. Complete technical analysis, design, construction, and testing. Recommend, document and support delivery of secure IT solutions that fulfills specific organizational requirements while addressing major architectural concept, principles, and other guidelines.
- 8. Create and manage policy, monitoring and automation to maintain a secure, standardized environment.
- 9. Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner. Perform cross functionally to create user focused solutions in architecture and design. Provide expertise regarding the integration of solutions across the business.
- 10. Conduct research, gather information, interpret data, identify requirements, and create a solution. Research and maintain knowledge in emerging technologies and possible application to the organization.
Must Have
- Bachelor Degree or Higher
- Passion for software products
- Perfect written English
- Highly creative and autonomous
- Valid work permit for Belgium
