Senior Manager, Learning, Communications and Engagement
The Position
The Sr Manager, Learning, Communications and Engagement will be an integral part of Arrowhead’s Human Resource function directly impacting the overall company culture.
This role is both strategic and execution-focused and will work with employees of all levels. The main focus of this role will be to support the growth of the organizational learning & development function by working to sustain related programs, processes, systems, and relationships. This role will also be a key player in developing internal communications initiatives and employee engagement activities.
Responsibilities:
- Administers and/or supports human resource programs including but not limited to performance and talent management, training and development, compensation, benefits, internal communications, recognition, morale, and engagement.
- Coordinate and execute all details associated with successfully launching projects and learning initiatives, which may include participant communications and scheduling, materials preparation, class registration, supplies orders, etc.
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments
- Key player in developing and enhancing onboarding processes, including new hire orientation
- Experience in learning & development curriculum development and training solutions and in-person and virtual training and facilitation
- Communicates company policy and other company information to employees
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelors’ degree, relevant field preferred including health care-related, life sciences, human resources or organization development
- Five years of experience in the field of learning & development, change management, talent management, internal communications or any other human resource field
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- An excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to educate and influence through formal and informal communications.
- Experience with conducting needs assessments & solutioning
- Innovative and creative approach to problem solving
- High level of initiative and ability to quickly resolve problems
- Solid organizational skills, including the ability to accomplish demanding timeline objectives
- Must have the ability to work at strategic, operational, and tactical levels
- Strong project management experience and effective organizational skills.
