Senior Technologist

Overview:


The Senior Technologist serves as clinical expert in their credentialed modality in an assigned territory. Daily patient interaction through scan administration. Ensures effective communication with the customer including radiologists as needed. Assists with ACR process, Physicist Testing, clinical competencies and other clinical tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs clinical scans and responsible for patient safety. Scan time may range from 80% to 100%
  • Completes New Hire and Annual Clinical Assessments
  • Assists with day to day unit operations.
  • Assist operations leaders with clinical workforce management
  • Supports unit audits, ACR accreditation activities, and Joint Commission preparedness.
  • Performs other relevant duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience
  • Certificate from College or Technical School
  • Completion of Radiology/Nuclear Medicine Program
  • Current ARRT, ARMRIT, NMTCB, or ARDMS
  • State license, where required
  • CPR Certification
  • Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
  • At least one-year experience in primary modality
  • I.V. skills required.
