Surgical Tech, Surgery FT

Summary: The technician is the "scrubbed" member of the O.R. team. A trained person who works under the direct supervision of the RN provides technical support of age-specific and multicultural nursing care plans who assists with operative procedures by performing scrub duties and other applicable duties, as needed.

Requirements: BLS required. Demonstrates reliability and personal responsibility. Excellent communication skills. Graduate of basic course in the operating room. High School graduate or equivalent required. O.R. certification preferred. Technique or equivalent experience required.
