BillionToOne is currently seeking a Treasury Accountant to join our growing Finance Team. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, results-oriented team player, who is strong at problem solving, while presenting strong teamwork skills and a desire to drive change in a hyper-growth environment. The Treasury Accountant will be a key member in our day to day operations to ensure its accuracy, integrity & timeliness. The Treasury Accountant position is a hybrid position (2-3 days onsite) and reports to the Sr. Accounting Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily cash and banking activities (analyzing the cash collections, payments and automated ACH withdrawals), reconciling with various teams and reporting to management.
- Manage banking relationships, including administration access of various users, ACH tracking and ensure all system flows with ERP work seamlessly on an ongoing basis
- Manage all aspects of corporate credit card programs (Expensify and Brex) including card administration, security, transaction processing and management reporting.
- Support the T&E Policy Administration by reviewing and approving expense reports.
- Ownership of process documentation including cash management documentation for various equipment leases as well as any investments made by the Company
- Establish a Treasury Management Policy and ensure compliance of investments in line with that including ensuring appropriate controls are in place.
- Support the approval matrix for all payments for wires, ACH and ensure there is adequate control to avoid any fraudulent and phishing attempts.
- Set up wires, ACH's and manage the check payments for AP and Payroll related processes. Ensure appropriate clearing of issued amounts being cleared in the bank.
- Prepare weekly cash analysis and support the cash flow forecasts with the FP&A team including reporting to the CFO including identifying any adverse trends
- Perform monthly account reconciliations for bank accounts and other GL accounts (as instructed by the Sr. Accounting Manager) to analyze and resolve discrepancies.
- Support ad-hoc special treasury projects such as implementation of new accounts, automation projects, cash applications and tracking of cash for the collections working with reimbursement team and Xifin.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree (B.S. or equivalent) in Accounting.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant Treasury experience including managing bank accounts and reconciliations
- Familiarity with the processes, concepts, methods and tools for maintaining accurate and thorough records of financial transactions in line with US GAAP
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups and ability to handle large amounts of data) required.
- Must be comfortable working in a high volume, data-intensive environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Professional Series (Excel, Word and Outlook) and the ability to quickly learn and use job-specific computer programs.
- Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
